Warranty FAQ
Overview
All products purchased from Cycle Revolution are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and
workmanship. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only unless the manufacturer states otherwise. Proof of purchase
is required for all warranty claims.
Some manufacturers may offer extended warranty periods when products are registered with them. You can always contact
our support team or stores for guidance on specific warranty durations.
What does a warranty cover?
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Faults that appear despite normal and correct use
- Coverage periods defined by each manufacturer
What does a warranty usually not cover?
- Normal wear and tear such as tyres, brake pads, drivetrain wear, bearings and bar tape
- Stripped pedal threads due to incorrect installation
- Damage from accidents, crashes or impacts (although some manufacturers offer crash replacements)
- Damage caused by poor maintenance, neglect or misuse
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or unauthorised repairs
- Use outside the product’s intended purpose
- Natural material degradation over time
- Failure to follow manufacturer care or usage instructions
- Bikes / Frames not assembled by an authorised dealer or qualified bicycle mechanic
How do I make a warranty claim?
1. Confirm that the issue is within the warranty period and not excluded.
2. Prepare proof of purchase, a clear description of the issue and photographs.
3. Email the information to the store you originally purchased the item from or our support team
4. You will be advised whether / how the item needs to be returned for inspection.
5. If an item is sent back, the item must be clean, dry and hygienic. You must must keep proof of postage until the
item is received by our warehouse or store.
